EAR PIERCING FOR KIDS

At Pediatric Healthcare Associates, we use the Medisystem ear piercing kit to provide the most gentle and safe approach to piercing your child's ears.

This kit uses titanium earrings to avoid metal allergies and skin sensitivity. Each kit is 100% disposable so you know you are getting the safest product for your child. You will also receive ear care soothing solution to clean ears after piercing, a mirror, and date certificate so your child can remember the day.

We will only be piercing ear lobes (first and second holes only). We will not be providing body piercing.

Ear Piercing is a medical procedure. The GentlePierce for kids program is specifically designed for children to have the best possible piercing experience.

We charge $60.00 which includes the earrings, aftercare solution, and the “I just had my ears pierced” certificate.  This procedure is not billable to insurance and must be paid prior to procedure being completed.  We require all children to be at least 3 months of age (having had their 2 month vaccinations) and we will only do first and second holes in the earlobe itself.

Our sterilized Medical Grade Titanium piercing earrings are designed to avoid metal allergies and skin sensitivity.

They have protective surgical steel “Lock in Place” earring backs and for added safety, all earring styles are designed with “Rounded Ornaments”. We include after care solution and ear care instructions to ensure healthy ear piercings. As a result, your child will experience a safe, healthy and gentle ear piercing.

GentlePierce for kids also includes, a “Remember the Date” card. We know you will enjoy our product.

To ensure your child’s newly-pierced, beautiful ears heal properly, please follow our recommended aftercare procedures:

1. Always wash your hands before touching the ears.
2. Do not remove or replace the earrings from the earlobe for the entire healing period of 4-6 weeks.
3. Use the Medisystem Ear Care Solution provided at least 2 times a day for the first week. Apply a few drops to the front and back of the earlobe. After the healing period, use the solution for daily cleaning of the pierced ears and earrings.
4. Turn and move the earrings front and back to promote maximum air circulation in between the piercing for a healthy and faster healing.
