Lactation Support

One-on-one guidance from a certified lactation consultant — for latch, supply, pumping and every feeding question in between.

Lactation Support
Overview

Judgment-free help, whatever feeding looks like for your family

Breastfeeding rarely goes exactly as expected, and that's normal. Our certified lactation consultant works alongside your pediatrician to troubleshoot latch difficulties, low supply concerns, pumping schedules, and the transition to solids or formula.

Sessions can be scheduled on their own or paired with a newborn checkup, so you're not managing an extra trip during an already exhausting stretch.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a referral to see the lactation consultant?
No referral needed — you can request a lactation visit directly, or ask your pediatrician to schedule one at a newborn checkup.
Is lactation support covered by insurance?
Many insurance plans cover lactation consulting as a preventive benefit. Our billing team can confirm your specific plan's coverage.
Can you help if I'm having trouble with a pump, not breastfeeding directly?
Yes — our lactation consultant supports exclusive pumping, combination feeding, and the transition off the pump just as much as direct breastfeeding.
What if I've already decided to formula feed?
We support every family's feeding choice. Our team can also guide formula selection and feeding schedules if that's the right path for you.
